Looking for ideas of what to get me for Christmas? Well, here it is: the new Handspring Treo 600. Maybe several of you could go in together?
This is the best palm/phone combination that has been released to date. It’s smaller than all the rest, it has Palm OS 5.0 (with a powerful 144 MHz ARM processor), 32 MB of RAM with an SD/MMC card slot for more, a beautiful high-resolution color screen, polyphonic ring tones, a built-in digital camera (0.3 megapixels), and if you get it from Sprint you can get unlimited Internet on your regular calling plan for $50/month.
Right now I don’t have a working Palm (I went through about seven Handspring Visor Prisms before my warranty expired!). I could buy a cheap one, but I want one that will last me a long time. I’ve also really wanted a palm/phone for a while. I just wish I had the money…
$450.00????
Ppfffffffffffffttttttttttttttt…… yeah you wish! I’ll donate 2 bucks if someone chips in the rest.

lol…I might be able to spare $1.20….
I’d love one too if you happen to get two given to you!
Joey, how do we know we’re not just throwing away our money? You admit to going through 7 handsprings in just a couple years. Ouch! Maybe we should give you a book…at least it won’t break
.
I was thinking the same thing. I suppose if you bought the warranty with it you might be ok. Or you could just live without the cell.
Well, I think part of the problem is that the Handspring Visor Prism line is over five years old. When I bought my first one they had been out for three years (but they were still the best color Palm on the market). Most of the replacements I got were refurbished, so they were all kindof crappy to start with.
But yes, knowing myself, the warranty would be mandatory.
I agree! However, I think you should just go with a new Palm, forget the cell phone…you don’t need that. Plus I don’t think you have enough rich friends to help you pay for it. jk (I love you
