Edit @ 10:32 pm: Depending on which computer I load it at, I’m still seeing the old beige colored sidebar. You may need to clear your cache or do a Ctrl + F5 to see the new colors. If the sidebar is white, you’ve got it.

Yeah, that’s genuine Utah sky. I wish I could take credit for the original photo, but it is a free stock photo from stock.xchng (flipped and cropped, of course).
The current color scheme surprised me when I saw it…then I saw this post. At first I thought the post meant that your page would always load the first time with poor colors and the second time with nicer ones. Then I realized that these ARE the nice colors.
And, don’t get me wrong. I DO think they are nice. I’m just not use to your site being so…bright.
